Leadership in the Time of COVID-19: An Example to Follow
I ran across a local news item that mentioned the efforts Lidl US CEO, Johannes Fiever who left his office in Arlington VA this past Friday, “rolled up his sleeves and pitched in at the company’s Spotsylvania County distribution center”, a 57-mile one-way trip.
Mr. Fiever worked the 10 pm to 6 am shift to help make sure that the company could continue to move products out of their Sponsylvania distribution center into stores.
This is the kind of leadership that we should all be trying to emulate, regardless of our role or responsibilities.
